Plainview High School
An All-American Scholar and Chickasaw Young Athlete of the Year, Aldridge is active in National Beta Club, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the National Society of High School Scholars. She is a varsity cheerleader and a member of the varsity softball team. She is the recipient of the Kodak Young Leaders Award and takes courses at the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics. The recipient of the Fred and Dottie Seals Leadership Award, Brandhorst is a valedictorian and was voted “most outstanding citizen” at Girls State. She also is active in the Oklahoma High School Rodeo Association and Spanish Club. An Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction and National Merit finalist, Winters is a member of the Oklahoma City Youth Council. He is captain of the varsity cross-country team and a classically trained pianist and a self-taught guitarist. A Boys State delegate, he has been active in National Honor Society and Key Club. Wright was a Marie Walsh Sharpe Summer Seminar Art Scholar and attended the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute in drawing and painting. A National Merit finalist, she is active in competitive speech and debate, Art Club, Drama and Debate Club and Girl Scouts. She also participates in dance and plays piano. Wright says “having a willingness to see failure as a step toward achievement” has been one of the factors in her academic success. She plans to study visual arts and chemistry in college.
