Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence Celebrates National Mentoring Month

OFE wishes to thank Cox Communications for its generosity in co-sponsoring National Mentoring Month in Oklahoma and providing television air time for mentoring public service announcements.

January is National Mentoring Month. Is your organization ready? The Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence has partnered with Cox Communications, MENTOR, the Harvard School of Public Health and the Corporation for National and Community Service to sponsor National Mentoring Month in Oklahoma.

As a co-ponsor of NMM in Oklahoma, the Foundation, through its David and Molly Boren Mentoring Initiative, provides mentoring programs around the state with access to national and localized promotional materials. During NMM 2010 the Foundation will honor its second Boren Mentoring Award Mentor at a special ceremony at the capitol. This year’s winner will be featured in a television PSA that will be distributed to media outlets across the state.
