Additional Colonial Williamsburg Opportunities Available

While the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence application deadline has passed for Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute applications, additional scholarship opportunities are available through the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation for elementary and secondary teachers. 1) PSCU Financial Services is sponsoring 25 elementary school teachers from across the United States to attend the Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute in Early American History. The date of this session in July 10-17, 2007. The application is due on Friday, March 16, 2007. This scholarship includes $1900 in tuition and a $200 stipend for educational materials and travel expenses to Williamsburg. Application is due March 16, we recognize this may be short notice, we will accept application up to March 20. Please note in your application the extension of the deadline. 2) A private family has made 6 scholarships available for teachers from across the United States. Full tuition and airfare is included in the scholarships. Elementary teachers may attend during the session of July 24-31, 2007 or July 31-August 7, 2007. Middle/High School teachers can attend during the sessions of June 20-27, 2007 or August 1-8, 2007.
