A participant in the Moore-Norman Technology Center Biotechnology program, Duong serves as president of Health Occupations Students of America Club, receiving a second-place award in epidemiology at the HOSA state conference. She is an Oklahoma State Regents Academic Scholar and member of National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society and Key Club. Duong is a volunteer and Teen Program developer at Oklahoma University Medical Center. A Student Council senator, she earned a National Superior Distinction in Speech and Debate.
