Lake Lyon
Cherokee High School
An Oklahoma Academic Scholar and College Board National Recognition Program Scholar, Lyon is also a Duke TIP Scholar. He is class president, runs track and is captain of both the Cherokee High School football and basketball teams. Lyon was named an Oklahoma Coaches Association 8-man All-Star and Orient Basketball Conference Most Valuable Player. He is a member of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America and an active participant in Dive Student Ministries at Cherokee First Baptist Church. Lyon plans to attend Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, to study health sciences (pre-medicine). Scholarship sponsor: Anonymous
