Michael Hwang

Jenks High School

Hwang is an Intel International Science and Engineering Fair finalist for his work in breast cancer research through the University of Tulsa. He earned a first-place medal in Medical Health Sciences in the Oklahoma State Science and Engineering Fair and is a National Merit finalist and Advanced Placement Scholar. Hwang plays tennis and is co-president and co-founder of the Jenks Computer Science Club. In the summers, he has apprenticed as a chef at Michelin-starred restaurants in San Francisco.
