Paul Oakes
Guymon High School
A Speech and Debate Policy Debate 5A State Champion, Oakes is also a Speech and Debate Foreign Extemporaneous Speaking State Runner-Up and three-year Speech and Debate National Qualifier. He is a member of National Honor Society and Business Professionals of America. Oakes runs cross country and was president of the Guymon History Club his sophomore year and president of Guymon Student Government his junior year. He is active in the AWANA Ministry Program. Oakes plans to study electrical and computer engineering at Oklahoma State University, where he is the recipient of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education Scholarship, President’s Distinguished Scholarship and CEAT Scholars Program Scholarship.
