Sawyer Hutchison
Fairview High School
A National Merit finalist, Hutchison is the Region 1 Scholar Athlete for 2022. He is Student Council vice president and captain of both his football and basketball teams. Hutchison is captain of the Quiz Bowl team and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is the Class 2A Discus State Champion for 2019 and 2021. Hutchison serves as an altar server and lector for Saint Ann’s Catholic Church and a junior high coach’s aide and mentor for football, basketball and track and field. His mother, Elaine is being honored with this year’s Medal for Excellence in Secondary Teaching and his sister Sydney was a 2016 All-Stater.
