Syed Aslam
Norman North High School
A National Merit finalist and Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction, Aslam is ranked first in his class at Norman North High School. He is the director of United Way of Norman’s LEAD Program and worked conducting Alzheimer’s research in Dr. Yihan Shao’s lab at the University of Oklahoma. Aslam is a National Honor Society outstanding member as well as a member of Islamic Society of Norman’s youth group. He was named Teen Hero Volunteer at the Norman Regional Hospital System and also volunteers with the Oklahoma Blood Institute and the Norman Public Library.
