Taylor McConnell
Wellston High School
A class valedictorian, McConnell is president of her senior class, National Honor Society and her Future Farmers of America chapter. She was state runner-up in the 2019 American Farmers and Ranchers Speech Contest and was named a 2020 Regional STEM Standout. McConnell is a member of the American Farmers and Ranchers Youth Program and Oklahoma Farmers Union Youth Advisory Council. She is an academic team member and participates in the gifted and talented program. McConnell volunteers with Samaritan’s Purse and the FFA Christmas Angel Tree. She plans to study pre-veterinary animal science at Oklahoma State University, where she has been named to the President’s Leadership Council. Scholarship sponsor: Arthur and Betty Thompson
