Improving student learning through quality teacher professional development opportunities.

We are honored to partner with Fund for Teachers, a national nonprofit organization that invests in customized learning fellowships for teachers. Through this collaboration, Oklahoma teachers can develop and propose a professional development grant unique to their personal teaching ambitions, student learning objectives and community engagement goals. Fund for Teachers grants provide fellowship funding for up to $5,000 for an individual teacher and up to $10,000 for a team of teachers. Educators can gain insight into any area of study, with learning opportunities in any location in the world during the summer months.

Teachers can apply online at www.fundforteachers between October 1 and January 30. Fellows are announced in April. This program is made possible through bridge funding from national Fund for Teachers and financial support from the Tulsa Community Foundation and the Oklahoma Tribal Alliance.
