Denna Bussinger

Walters High School

Bussinger is a College Board National Rural and Small Town Scholar and a class valedictorian. She is a member of the school academic team, varsity choir, Student Council, art club, and Spanish club. In vocal music, she is the first chair soprano II and has received multiple superior ratings in solos and ensembles at the state and district levels. She has been inducted into the National Honor Society, National Technical Honors Society, and Oklahoma Indian Student Honor Society. Bussinger enjoys playing bass guitar and role-playing games with her friends. She received the Baccalaureate Scholarship at East Central University, where she plans to major in biology and medical botany.

Kendall Meason

Walters High School

Meason is class valedictorian and has been class president for four years. She is also Student Council president, National Honor Society president and Walters Future Farmers of American sentinel. She shows livestock, runs cross-country and serves as team manager for the Walters Lady Devils’ basketball and track teams. She was selected for the Youth Leadership Oklahoma Class 22 and has received the state Future Farmers of America Degree. She attends Walters United Methodist Church. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and volunteering with her student council. In college, she plans to major in communication sciences and disorders.
