Joyce Yang

Yang is student body president, Interact Club past president and an OK Mozart volunteer intern. She is a member of National Honor Society, jazz choir, and state and local Superintendent’s Advisory Councils. She served as Oklahoma Girls State Governor and Girls Nation Senator and is a U.S. Presidential Scholar candidate, National Merit finalist and three-year All-State Choir medalist. She is also a Yale Science and Engineering Award winner and International Science and Engineering Fair finalist. A pianist, she was the 2022 Kennedy Center International Young Soloist winner and received the State Superintendent’s Award for Arts Excellence. Her brother, Stone, was a 2020 All-Stater. Yang plans to major in public policy and international affairs at Princeton University.
